Umpire Clinic May 14th

We are holding an umpire clinic on May 14th at the Stratford Town Hall - Southport room. 6:00 PM.  This is a FREE clinic to attend.

Mike French will be there providing instruction to new umpires and anyone who would like a refresher.

Stratford Softball is reimbursing new umpires up to $250 towards umpire gear after they have completed 10 Stratford home games as an umpire.  Umpires can make between $35 to $42 per game.

If you are between the ages of 14 through 114 and would like to give officiating a try - then we want you!

For new umpires and especially younger umpires, Stratford will be mentoring and providing support and instruction during games.  This will help you build confidence and experience while being supported.  A supervisor will be in attendance for any questions and to provide tips, tricks and advice.
